Now I realize that with the diversity of cultures in the world, not everyone on the internet celebrates Easter or the pagan feast of Ishtar. However, the days after these feast can be helpful for everyone who wants to take a boost at beating procrastination.
Why?
Because sweets and Easter eggs that were not bought before Easter will be at a discount, markets will have clearance sales. So here's my procrastination tip for these days.
1) Rush to your nearest super market and get all the chocolate you can (you saw that coming didn't you?! :-)
2) Make a list of what you want to accomplish in the next 2 week, break down big tasks in smaller parts so they don't seem scary. Remember to choose a reasonable amount of time for each task and avoid filling all of your free time. Give yourself room for rest.
3) Use the chocolate as rewards for every group of 3 or four tasks you accomplish.
Of course you will need to keep the discipline and consume the chocolate only after the tasks are complete... but usually this is not a problem, most procrastinators can delay rewards.
You can do this with other things that are not necessarily chocolate, but these won't be at a clearance sale.
I hope this will be helpful, as chocolate always is! Ha ha! When it is at a discount it is even better (and more tasty too, for some reason).
Now, I must go do some work because that Swiss chocolate bunny has been smiling at me for too long already.
